The Add It Up! Bundle
The Add It Up! Bundle was designed to help kids learn addition so thoroughly that they know the answer without even thinking about it.
It’s HUGE! 240 pages of pure, unadulterated math from 0+0 to 10+10 — by focusing on and learning one problem at a time.
Math is Like a Skyscraper.
(I know, SO DEEP!!!)
You MUST invest time and energy building a quality foundation because the next levels are coming whether or not the base you've built is strong enough to hold it.*
Just in time for summer, you can help your child or student add another block to their foundation every day.
The Add It Up! Bundle can help you and your student(s) build the foundation they need to add more knowledge to their math skyscraper.
(* I'm not an architect so kindly ignore the fact that they don't typically build the top levels of a skyscraper without confirming it has a strong enough foundation to support its weight.. but learning math is essential for everyone who wants to build the buildings of the future.)
Build Your Foundation Correctly
The correct answers are at the top of every page and the top of every column and it may seem counter-intuitive.
This helps ensure that they are building their foundation correctly… Kind of like working with a personal trainer at the gym -- you don't want to do a ton of reps working out your brain muscles remembering the wrong thing! This is a crucial tool in recognizing when an answer is incorrect.
I've presented the problems both horizontally and vertically, since they will likely encounter the problems both ways.
Besides showing the math problems in numbers, I’ve also included them as words, presenting the equation as a sentence to give brains a chance to latch onto the numbers from a different angle. All brains are different so some of us might work better seeing words too.
Take Your Brain to the Math Gym
Calculators break, phone batteries die, AI can be wrong, it’s important to have the basics in your brain for back-up. This is straight-forward addition that people need to know, no fluff, no devices.
Just paper, pencil, hand, and, if possible, voice. I recommend saying the problems out loud (as annoying as it may be, sorry!) to go along with the answers as you’re writing them and it will help keep your brain focused on the problem you’re working on.
Take Two a Day to Keep the Summer Slide Away
By learning two problems a day (one in the morning and one in the afternoon), you can consciously and with intention, provide the building blocks they need to succeed and grow.
Start by printing a few pages at time. Every student is different but many will have to do the worksheets more than once in order to feel confident. Do it as many times as necessary.
Limited Private Sessions Available
Asking questions in class can be really hard for some.
If your student needs more support, I'm offering a limited number of virtual private tutor sessions at just $97 (50 min), available to book starting mid-June through the end of August.
